My good friend Becky came up with the brilliant idea of writing a fall bucket list (go visit her – she’s new at this blogging stuff!). And after having an absolute ball with my summer bucket list (shhh, don’t judge that I didn’t quite get to all 50 things!), I thought I should follow suit since fall is my favorite season and I’ve already been making a mental list of silly things I’d like to accomplish. So, without further ado, my list:
1. Make a fall-inspired craft with Little K for the DH’s desk at work. (Will it be a “hand” turkey? A wax paper/crayon/leaf masterpiece? Only time will tell).
2. Try a new pumpkin recipe.
3. Cut back all my plants to prep for winter (sad, but I generally forget and have to do it in the spring).
4. Discover a new place to walk and capture photos.
5. Experiment more with the settings on my camera to capture the changing colors.
6. Visit a new cider mill (there’s so many around here I have yet to visit).
7. Take family photos someplace picturesque. Will need to solicit a very dear friend to do this *cough Sarah!*
8. Make a list of things I am thankful for, and of course, post it on here.
9. Find a new delicious-sounding crock pot recipe and make it.
10. Plan a fall trip to the zoo.
11. Participate in a volunteer project. I just signed up for this one to build a playground with the Detroit Lions and GMC – if you’re local, you should too!
Linking up with Northwest Mommy for Monday Listicles.
What fun things do you plan to do this fall?

Totally fun list of things to do. There’s this terrific website for crockpot recipes, I’m sure you can find something delicious to make there: http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/
Totally checking it out. Thanks for the tip, Alison!
Thanks for the link, Lauren!
Of course! Thanks for putting this great idea in my head
I love the idea of a Fall Bucket list – I’ve never thought about doing it by season!
You should do one too! I love reading them because I always get good ideas!
Oh, if you find a new pumpkin recipe will you share it with me please. I have 6 or so pumpkins about to be ready in my garden.
Will do…although I was thinking of cheating a buying the pumpkin
I’ll keep you posted if I get really brave.
Your list sounds great! And I just bet you get around to all of them.
What’s on my list for the fall? A big out of town race this weekend, taking pictures of the fall foliage, perhaps a steam train ride later in October through the mountains of VA, and co-planning a class reunion (I’m not saying which one!).
Oooh, I smell some good posts a-cookin’!
I’m on the hunt for some great pumpkin recipes, too! We should collaborate–do a pumpkin/ recipe story!
Thanks for your sweet words on my Mama Kat prompt! It was my first time and so fun!
I’m not the best of cooks, so I set small goals for myself
Hope the pumpkin recipe turns out!
That sounds like a pretty easy list to do!
I love pumpkin! If it turns out share the recipe with the rest of us!
Hehe, I kept this list small on purpose…I don’t want to fail anywhere
I think a new crockpot recipe, new pumpkin recipe and a volunteer project would all be on my list too! Luckily I already volunteer for Girl Scouts and every Holiday season there is a big food drive for local food bank that I help with. So, one down!
That’s awesome. You go girl! I love to give back when I can.

These are great! I must check the crock pot recipe blog Alison suggested. Cannot wait to revisit you later this year and see pictures of you ticking of your list
Thanks so much for the link-up! As I mentioned before, I love a good reason to make a list
Great list! I need to include mOst of these items in my own fall bucket list. It’s a great season for photos – enjoy!
Thanks so much for visiting, Amanda. Hope you capture some great shots as well
Love the Fall Bucket List idea! I’m planning to make a bulletin board with my son for his room (does that count? maybe if I put some fall leaves on it).
I don’t think it has to be fall-related necessarily – so that works
A handmade bulletin board is a great idea – good luck!
Wow, great list for a bucket list..I have never made a true bucket list but unfortunately I seem to have a daily bucket list as I am sure most of us do….just glad I wake up on the right side of the dirt each day and have another chance to complete it. Enjoyed your post..
I agree with that logic, too. Never heard wake-up on the right side of the dirt. Too funny!

Great list! I”m always looking for crockpot recipes! And my camera and I? We need some serious bonding time. And tutorials. Lots of tutorials!
I would love to help you with #7 AND #4!!!
YAY!
I have a GREAT pumpkin chocolate chip muffin recipe if you want it. Nummy!
Oooh, that sounds heavenly. I actually have one – just haven’t tried it. It sounds easy enough, maybe that’s one I should give a shot.
I just started a club of women based on the premise that together we can help each other accomplish goals on our life lists. Sent you an invite on Facebook if you would like to join us.
Aww, that’s so cool! I’ll definitely check out, Ursula!
