People: We have arrived…The toddler has officially hit the Disney Princess stage.
I knew it was inevitable. I try to be gender neutral, but I’m pretty sure she believes she is a princess. Although she will say to you, “I not a princess, I Kinley!” Can’t argue with the logic of a 2-year old.
We have been renting all things Disney-related from the library, along with watching her absolute favorite — Cinderella — at least once a week. It brings a smile to my face though too, because I loved Cinderella at that age as well. It’s so fun re-living childhood through your own kiddos. Hearing her quote the movie and sing the songs warms my heart.
I know her mind is going to be BLOWN when I take her to see Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream next month because the show is all about the Princesses — specifically Rapunzel, Tiana and Cinderella, though I wouldn’t be surprised to see MANY more familiar faces skating around!
Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream is coming to the Palace of Auburn Hills {a Detroit, Michigan suburb} March 14-17, 2013.

Well, I have a little boy so he’s not that into the princesses, but he does like the new Sofia the First show on Disney Junior!
I can’t think of her name off the top of my head, the girl from princess and the frog.

It’s a toss-up between Cinderella and Ariel for my daughter’s favorite princess…I’m with you, Lauren, in that I was kind of dreading the princess stage, but watching Claire’s eyes light up when she watches the movies or pretends to be a princess makes it totally worth it.
My daughter and I both love Belle. Can’t go wrong with someone who loves to read & takes care of her family! =)
