One of my best memories is a trip the hubby and I took for our first anniversary, prior to baby. It wasn’t anywhere expensive – we just decided to take a road trip and be tourists in our own state. ((For those in Michigan, we traveled north to Traverse City and the Leelanau Peninsula, and then took a scenic drive down M-22 to Ludington.))
We came back relaxed…and 30+ bottles of wine richer. I had so much fun looking at the photos and revisiting our adventure. I think it’s time to plan another visit!

You make me want to jump in the car and head up north right now! We haven’t tried 2Lads yet – it’s on our list when we go up in August. Love the shot of the Peninsula Cellars school house. My favorite Michigan red is from there. M-22 is always one of the best roads ever. I don’t think people who have never been get just how beautiful Northern Michigan really is. We’re pretty lucky to have it at our disposal. What a great road trip with the hubby!

I agree – it’s awesome up there. You definitely have to check out 2Lads. Super modern and unique!

I don’t even drink wine, but the pictures made it look SO good.
Mrs. Weber says
That’s good to hear. I hope you have some other form of a “relaxer” 😉

I think that could be a vacation promo video. Seriously! Great Job! Road Trips make some of the best memories!
Mrs. Weber says
I agree – a road trip beats out a plane ride any day in my world!

I want to go there. Now. Looks great. Love the clock. I need one of those.
Mrs. Weber says
I know – that clock was so awesome!

Love it! Love that song. I am in such a good mood now! And it is very clear why that is such an awesome memory.

Glad you liked my music choice – I had to pick something quirky and upbeat!

Love your VLog! I love to visit Ludington, Traverse City, Boyne, etc. Especially in the summer time. Michigan has some of the beautiful and scenic areas in the country. Now, i’m all “Gotta take a road trip this summer”. *sigh* I also agree with Teresa, I don’t drink wine but you made it look so crisp, refreshing, and just plain ol’……………….delicious!
Mrs. Weber says
You gotta take a road trip for sure! Make it happen…maybe a fall color tour? That’s what I’m hoping we can do next.
Minivan Mama says
That looks like so much fun! And the wine! Yes, please!
Mrs. Weber says
I’m glad you’re with me on the wine 😉

Love the Peninsula Cellars schoolhouse picture!! It’s my very favorite place to get wine in TC! Heading up there next month, can’t wait to breath in the fresh and pure air and taste some delicious wine.
Mrs. Weber says
Yay! I agree – I LOVE their wine. Their ‘Detention’ is one of my fave wines of all time!

I love traverse city. My girlfriends and I went on a vaca (that I still have yet to really blog about) during the end of June. It was glorious!
Loved the vlog, the song, and the clock. I NEED that clock, lol… How did you create that via youtube? I am still pondering hard on the idea of vlogging. You are inspiring me!

You should do it! Link-up with the VlogTalk meme – all the women rock and are so welcoming 🙂 I created the video in iMovie (on a Mac), uploaded to YouTube and grabbed the embed code and put it in the HTML part of my post. Let me know if you need any help – would love to ‘see’ you!

I would certainly say it’s time to plan another visit! Or maybe that’s just me who wants to plan a visit to wine country.
Being that I lived in Ohio for some time, I’m mad I did not take advantage of going to this winery.
