Who doesn’t love the magic of a crock pot? I seriously love mine, especially when the cooler weather comes. One of my favorite easy recipes is to make homemade crock pot broccoli cheese soup. I love making it because we always have plenty of leftovers that can be refrigerated for lunches during the week.
Here’s the scoop on how to make the soup…
INGREDIENTS
2 – 10 oz. packs of frozen broccoli cuts, thawed
2 cans cream of celery soup
2 cups half & half
8 oz. cheese sauce (Cheez Whiz or store brand)
2 cubes of chicken bouillon
DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients together in a crock pot. Heat on low setting for approximately 5-6 hours.
Serve with a salad and a French baguette for a heartier meal.

Yum! This looks so good. My favorite thing to make, in the Crockpot, is beef stew. I made a yum-delish one, last week. I also love making chicken noodle soup. Plan on doing that one, this weekend.

Great recipe. I did a couple of variations that made it really good. The recipe did not call for any water, but it seemed way too thick. I added one cup of water and it made it the perfect consistency. Also, when serving, I added a handful of shredded mild cheddar and a handful of classic croutons to make it even more cheesy and have it a little crunch. Yum! I’ll def make it again.
