I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Carter’s. I received a complimentary gift card to facilitate my review and thank me for my participation.
Ah, spring! The birds are singing, the sun is shining, and we are so.stinkin.close. to my favorite reason for the season change: New clothes!
I don’t know about you all, but I have about 10 pairs of my girls’ leggings that just need to go…Holes in the knees, paint in the creases, etc. I just can’t let go until we shake these frigid temps for good.
We recently went over to our local Carter’s store for a little shopping. I usually don’t love taking all 3 kids on adventures like this, but I made the exception because Carter’s has LEGOs, which means my girls actually love visiting. They can sit and play while I shop…and I can let them pick out items they would like, because if you have girls — you know how opinionated they can be, even at 2 and 4.
Thankfully, my 2-year-old does the “This looks good – I’ll take it!” approach, so she is fairly easy to shop with. I loved this outfit she picked out. Cute and comfy — totally her style!
My 4-year-old is especially picky, so I generally have to work with her a bit. If she doesn’t pick it out or approve of it, she simply won’t wear it. {My mom will tell you it’s all my years of being a picky kid/unique dresser coming back to haunt me!} I was delighted we could meet in the middle and find things we both loved. I mean, how cute is this tunic and jegging set? I want it in my size 😉
For being a shy kid, she LOVES the camera! Or, she’s just used to her crazy blogger mama 😉
I loved all the sayings on the shirts too. I typically avoid shirts with words, but Kinley fell in love with this one and it was SO her I couldn’t say no! I love that Carter’s carries athletic stuff for toddlers. My girls are obsessed with “running shirts” like my husband and I wear. Here’s Kin showing off her muscles in her new running outfit. HA!
Spring colors are seriously the best. When we walked in, we were hit with their beautiful and bright hues — lots of hot pink, bright orange and bright blue. It was like a tropical vacation!
In fact, baby boy is totally ready to taste stick his toes in the sand! How cute is his shark outfit? We’re ready for the beach!
I don’t always love paying retail prices, which is why I love shopping at Carter’s. First, everything is always on sale, and second — coupons can be stacked with sale prices! I usually can score quite a lot for a little money.
On my trip, I was able to get 8 outfits, including swim trucks/rash guard and aviator sunglasses and a hat for $100. Not too shabby! The entire store was 50% off too and the clearance racks were stocked with awesome items. Gotta love Carter’s!
Here’s the coupon I used, which is valid until 4/5. You can either print it off, or simply show it to the cashier and they can type in the code. Woot for saving moula!
Nab some last-minute items for Easter, or grab some cute swimwear for summer!
