These delicious pumpkin pie spiced muffins taste like pumpkin pie on-the-go. Made with pure pumpkin, these sweet treats will dazzle your taste buds and help fill your belly on a cool fall day.
Oh fall, you slay me with your burning bonfire scent, pumpkin-flavored-everything, leaves-crunching-on-the-ground ways.
After a few sporadic days of chilly fall-like weather here in Michigan, I can officially say BRING.IT.ON.
I guess you could call me basic with my love of all things pumpkin. Truth is, I’m not sure if it’s the flavor or just having a reason to celebrate the change of seasons, which we are incredibly blessed with here in Michigan.
To gear up for the cooler weather on the horizon, I’ve been in the kitchen experimenting with flavors my whole family will love. After searching for pumpkin muffins, I grew frustrated when not a single one used the entire can of pumpkin. I hate waste, and I don’t always have use for the little bit left in the can with certain recipes.
To satisfy my desire, I got to work and put together this little flavorful recipe and my family has enjoyed the results. Best consumed with a little pad of real butter…Ohhh, now who’s calling who basic? Butter makes everything better.

Toddler approved, too. In fact, he loved them so much he even ate the scraps off the floor! I guess he’s basic too 😉

I love that you include the whole can of pumpkin. What am I supposed to do with a 1/4 of a can of pumpkin? I could never figure that out. Bonus for including chocolate chips in there!

I know!!! Makes me crazy 😉 And yes – can’t go wrong with adding chocolate chips to anything!
