LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Michigan Grand Opening

It’s the FINAL COUNTDOWN to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan grand opening! This gem will open to the public on March 25, 2016, and this LEGO-loving family is SO ready for some fun 🙂

I will be attending the media preview in a few weeks, so will report back with photos and what to expect, but in the meantime, here’s a refresher of what’s to come:

  • The LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan is located inside Great Lakes Crossings in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and is 32,000-square-feet.
  • There will be more than one million LEGO bricks and themed exhibits including a 4D cinema, two interactive rides, large soft play areas and a uniquely Michigan-themed MINILAND display.   • The attraction will offer families a fun, interactive and educational 2-3 hour experience and will be ideal for children ages 3-10 years old.
  • There will be options for birthday parties, school field trips and even adult nights as well.

TICKETS

Adult and children, ages 3-12, are $23.50 to get into the attraction. Visit this link for ticket info: http://bit.ly/LDCMichiganTickets. Children 3 and under are FREE.

In addition, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan is a part of Merlin Entertainments, which is also the parent to SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium, which is also inside Great Lakes Crossing. There are discount tickets available for $32/child {3-12} and $37/adults. This rate is wonderful for being able to enjoy both attractions and make an entire day of fun. There is plenty of other fun at Great Lakes Crossing too, including a Rainforest Cafe, food court, carousel, and great kid’s play area.

There are also annual passes available for families and individuals, which is another great option for LEGO lovers.

  16. My husband is NOT a Lego fan and my girls are too small/in the put everything in their mouth stage to have Lego at home. SO, for sure my almost 4 year old. And probably another mom and her Lego-obsessed 9 year old.
