One of our favorite local restaurants to visit as a family is Aubree’s Pizzeria & Grill.

There’s quite a few thing we love about this regional chain: Plenty of delicious Michigan brews on tap, an affordable daily lunch buffet, amazing gourmet pizzas and the most amazing feta bread ever. Seriously…Walk, don’t run, and give it a try!

Now we have a new thing to love and keep us coming back all summer: New, seasonal menu items.

We recently visited to taste the new menu, and I have to say — I’m in love! Every dish we tasted was bursting with flavor and presented in a beautiful way.

We had a tough time choosing our favorites, but there is no doubt I will be ordering the Cross Street Corn again, which is inspired by Mexican street corn. With fresh parmesan and feta, it was delicious and the perfect way to kick off a meal. Honestly, I could’ve just ate this *as* a meal…It’s that good!

On the flip side, those watching what they eat will love the new protein-packed Watermelon Beet Salad, which also had quinoa and a balsamic dressing. I wasn’t sure how all the flavors would go together, but it was surprisingly refreshing and unique. Who knew watermelon paired so nicely with beets?!

The Crispy Southwest Taco Salad was my personal favorite for the new salads though. I enjoyed how it was not your typical salad with ground beef, and used chicken and/or shrimp instead. The cilantro-lime dressing was perfect for a lighter summer salad, and house-made chips provided the perfect crunch. I’d love to order this again paired with a Corona and sit on Aubree’s patio.

As far as entrees, I was floored by how delicious the Tuscan Chicken was. It had awesome flavors, and the artichoke, kalamata olives, garlic, mushrooms and feta seemed to pop out with every bite, which I loved. I would definitely order this again! Plus, it’s gluten-free, so it’s a great option for those with that lifestyle.

Additionally, the Enchilada Pizza was a fun spin on the Italian classic pizza. I loved the addition of fresh avocado and the medley of colorful tomatoes. Isn’t it beautiful? And if you’ve never tasted Aubree’s delicious flavored crusts, they are a must!

In addition to the new items, there are also new delicious drinks, too. I love their Sangria, but this time enjoyed the Strawberry Basil Mojito, which was very refreshing. They also have Italian sodas and even Faygo floats for the non-drinkers, too!

There truly is something to please every palate here, and I love how kid-friendly they are — I feel the staff always goes above and beyond to please my kids with something special, which is SO appreciated.

Food aside, I personally also love how involved they are in each of the communities where they reside. I feel great eating here knowing I am supporting a Michigan-based business. I was beyond thrilled to get the opportunity to work with them for this post since we go here often.
