If you find yourself humming this tune often, I have the event for you! Day Out With Thomas at Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad will be rolling into Flint, Michigan, August 19-21 and 26-28, 2016.
This event is one of my kids’ absolute favorites, so we’re ecstatic to attend again this year. See my tips from last year’s visit here.}
Day Out With Thomas™: The Ready, Set, Go Tour 2016 will be visiting Crossroads Village for six big days of family fun.
Ticket prices are $22 for adults and children age 2 and up, and include a 40-minute ride on the historic narrow-gauge train pulled by Thomas himself. Additional activities include storytelling, live music, Thomas videos and more. Additionally, Thomas’s friend, Bob the Builder, will be there too. There is plenty to pack in, so plan a family outing!
Guests are invited to pack a picnic or enjoy food at one of the three dining options in the Village, ride the carousel {$1.25 each ride or 4 rides for $4}, check out the historic buildings, and more. The gates open at 9 a.m. with FREE parking.
And don’t forget to visit the farm on the premises too! There’s so much to see, and the grounds are gorgeous. It’s wagon/stroller-friendly too — so bring whatever will keep the kids happy. There is stroller parking near the train for the actual ride.
Overall, this is a can’t miss-event for young children. I promise you won’t be disappointed if you plan a visit!
NOTE: DOWT tickets usually sell out. Purchase tickets in advance HERE. Events happen rain or shine. Have fun if you go 😀
