This summer I’ve started a trend with my kids…Every few weeks, we head to the park in the morning with donuts. Occasionally we meet up with friends or I bring along a few extra neighbor kids. Donuts are awesome because it helps motivate them to get going in the morning and helps fight off the “I’m hungry” 5 minutes into our adventure {which happens every time}.

When we do our donut runs, I can’t help it — I get a fun coffee. Forget fancy shoes and purses, coffee is my absolute favorite treat to myself!

I often joke that coffee is the nectar of the Gods. I mean…It is, right? Personally, I wouldn’t be able to work from home without it because it’s the only thing that makes me get out of bed some days.

I have a few spots that are my favorites, but not all have a drive-thru. That’s kind of crucial when all of my kids are with me. Enter Dunkin Donuts. The kids are happy because they get donuts and I’m happy because I get coffee. Win-Win.

I was ecstatic to learn they now serve cold brew coffee. It has helped me get through all the humidity plaguing Michigan because who wants a hot coffee while playing outside? Not me.

Dunkin’ Donuts’ Cold Brew coffee is prepared by steeping a special blend of coffee in cold water over an extended period of time to extract a uniquely distinctive flavor from the beans. The longer brewing process provides a rich, smooth coffee with an inherently sweeter flavor reminiscent of dark chocolate.

Let me tell you: It’s incredible and I may have a new addiction!

Cold Brew coffee is crafted by hand in small batches and served each day while supplies last. The ultra-smooth and naturally sweet flavor profile lends itself to being enjoyed black, but is customizable based on preference.

I added vanilla and some cream and sugar, but I wholeheartedly agree that this is one coffee I will easily drink black. Fair warning though: It’s pretty strong, so I wouldn’t drink it late in the day.

I will definitely be grabbing this as we go into fall and into school drop-offs…I have a feeling I will need it after getting my two stubborn ladies ready in the morning 😉

  19. I don’t drink coffee but we love eating at Dunkin’ Donuts. Funny thing is that I love other things flavored with coffee like ice cream and chocolate milk (I add a splash of cold brew to my glass). I also always add espresso powder to my chocolate cakes, it really enhances the flavor of the chocolate!

  32. I love my coffee in the mornings and in the winter months with sugar and creamer, in the summer months I drink hot coffee in the mornings and iced coffee in the afternoons.

  69. I take my coffee, hot, black, & with no sweetener.
    And I love that with AARP when I buy a large coffee at Dunkin Donuts, I get a free donut! In fact, I stopped at Dunkin Donuts this morning for my XL coffee & donut!

  95. I can’t live without coffee!! I usually get the featured flavor at Dunkin with skim milk. I’m there almost every day so all of the employees know me lol.

    Also, pumpkin is back! I’ve been getting pumpkin and skim recently but sometimes I’ll just get cream and 2 splenda. Delicious!

  96. My favorite way to have my coffee is as a frappuccino but most days I fill 3/4cup with strong coffee and 1/4cup half n half & couple TBSP Torani Sugar-Free flavored syrup.Also just warm NOT too hot.

  100. 1 cup with a little..some times a lot..of cream. Or if I’m out I’ll get a ventilation iced coffee with milk, lightly sweetened.
