Every season I gather our family together and create a bucket list of fun things we’d like to do. At ages 3, 5 and 7, I love hearing the fun ideas my kids have! The holiday season is starting to swing into high gear, and they have come up with some fantastic ways to celebrate.

Before kicking off the season though, we stocked up on some fresh gear for our Christmas card photos. I had a blast scanning the racks at OshKosh B’gosh to get the perfect outfit for each of my kiddos. The retailer carries no-fuss kids fashion styles for sizes 3 months up to size 14 in its Baby B’gosh and OshKosh Kids collections.
Oshkosh is my go-to for my kids because their styles are fashionable AND practical. Many of you know I don’t have girly girls, so shopping for Christmas events can be tough. Thank goodness OshKosh has a great selection of outfits with pants, cute boots, and plenty to layer with, which is crucial for the cold Michigan temperatures!

I was ecstatic to see a phenomenal choice of BLUE items for girls because it’s my gals’ favorite color, and I love the way it complements their blue eyes.
Trends I spotted for girls in the store: Plaid, tulle, vests, faux fur, sparkles and velvet.

Shopping for boys is just as fun, too. With plenty of plaid, vests, cardigans, suspenders and bowties, it’s so fun to turn boys into little gentlemen!

My kids LOVED their outfits, and did a halfway decent job smiling for our sweet photographer, Jessica! You just never know what little ones are going to do at a photo session 😉

We have SO many holiday traditions that are favorites of mine. But one of my favorites is that no matter how young or old our family members are, we always end up playing really funny party games to match the theme of the holiday or sometimes just in general and they get us laughing even more than we do already. One thing we all love to do a lot of , is LAUGHING. An extra bonus is that if we have a newer guest such as one of our adult kids has a new significant other or friend join us, they very quickly feel comfortable with all the silliness, down to earth laughter as well.
