I’ve written about MOD Pizza many times, and for good reason — it’s one of our family’s favorite spots to visit. My husband loves their unlimited toppings and beer specials, and I just love that it’s something all three of my kiddos will eat! It’s a great spot for a family night out.
MOD recently introduced two new seasonal items — the Phoenix pizza and a seasonal salad. I recently was able to taste test, and I have to say, both are delicious!
The Phoenix pizza features white sauce, arugula, asiago, Italian sausage, roasted mushrooms and red peppers, rosemary and a balsamic fig glaze.
I absolutely LOVED this pizza — I thought the rosemary was an interesting touch, and I definitely want to add that to homemade pizzas in the future. The fig glaze tasted a bit like balsamic but sweeter and added a nice flavor.
One thing I love about MOD is the fact my family can all get individual pizzas to suit our tastes. My little guy opted for plain ol’ pepperoni, which was good by me — more for me for later!
The seasonal salad is a delicious and an extremely healthy option. The salad is a mix of kale, arugula, ricotta cheese, roasted red peppers, roasted mushroom and red onions, topped with a balsamic vinaigrette.
I’ve never considered putting mushrooms on salad, but I really enjoyed it! The mix of greens and veggies was really refreshing, and I appreciate having the lower calorie option.
I couldn’t eat all at once, so I saved some for the next day and both still tasted great.
Both the seasonal pizza and salad will be available at MOD through April 23.
My kids always beg for cinnamon strips for a treat after. They are just $2.97 and a fun dessert option for when the kiddos finish all their pizza!

I LOVE mushrooms on my pizza – and usually add grilled chicken, tomatoes and basil, too!
I like a vast selection of toppings and a variety of cheeses. One of my favorite pies starts with a thin layer of olive oil followed by roasted garlic, spinach, sundried tomatoes, feta cheese, pine nuts, mozzarella and finished with fresh basil leaves.
My husband LOVED the Phoenix pizza! He went back and got a second one right away he loved it so much! I love no sauce and ham. That is my favorite! Put a little garlic butter on it and we are good!

Tasty! Where is this franchise located? I haven´t ever seen it.
I like just about any vegetarian combo! I especially love Greek/Mediterranean vegetarian combos. However, another favorite & regular go-to of mine is pineapple on cheese pizza with extra red sauce! + sometimes onions/garlic as well.
