2018 MJR FREE Children’s Spring Film Festival Schedule
Saturday & Sundays March 3 – 25 – Participating locations only!
- March 3-4: Wonder (PG) Showtimes posted on February 27
- March 10-11: Ferdinand (PG) Showtimes posted on March 6
- March 17-18: Paddington 2 (PG) Showtimes posted on March 13
- March 24-25: LEGO Ninjago (PG) Showtimes posted on March 20
This promotion is limited to these participating locations:
- MJR Adrian Digital Cinema 10, 3150 N Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI
- MJR Marketplace Digital Cinema 20, 35400 Van Dyke, Sterling Heights, MI
- MJR Troy Grand Digital Cinema 16, 100 E Maple Rd., Troy, MI
- MJR Westland Grand Cinema 16, 6800 N Wayne Rd., Westland, MI
- Allen Park Cinema, 6601 Allen Rd., Allen Park, MI
All of these movies are FREE for children 12 and under and just $1 for adults. Tickets are available on the day of the show only; there are no advance ticket sales and tickets will not be available on the app.
This is the perfect way to take a larger family, those on a budget or to experiment to see if your child is ready for a theater experience!

I actually didn’t get to see Paddington 2 in theaters so I may go for that :).

Good call! It didn’t seem to be in theaters long. I’m bummed my local MJR isn’t participating. May have to make the trek out your way!

Do you know if you can buy the tickets online the day of or if you have to go in person to get them? We tried once last year, got there 30 minutes early and they were all sold out. It was such a disappointment to my daughter. Wondering if there is any better way to do it.

You do have to purchase tickets for these special shows in-person of day-of, unfortunately. Maybe have someone grab them in the morning for an afternoon show? It’s so hard to know — sometimes it has been packed and other times, there has been plenty of room for us!
