2018 Easter Fun in Southeast Michigan {Organized By County}

Easter is quickly sneaking up this year, right?! Some local events have already started selling out, so I’ve collaborated with some all-star bloggers to bring you a more comprehensive list for each county in Southeast Michigan.

Bring on the Reese’s Eggs…and hopefully warmer weather in the weeks ahead 😉

I’m covering my neck of the woods here in Livingston County. Please note that many events have not been announced yet, so check back often for additions and give us a shout if we’ve missed something!

Easter Events in Livingston County

March 9 — Decorate a Sugar Egg Class {Fowlerville}

  • Time: 6-8 p.m.
  • Cost: $25 per egg
  • Description: Visit Brideau’s Apparel & Gifts and make a sugar egg with icing, flowers, bunnies, etc. All materials provided and no experience necessary. Kids are welcome! The class is limited. Email Brideausapparel@gmail.com to reserve a spot by March 2.

March 10 — Easter Crafts at Michael’s {Nationwide} 

  • Time: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Cost: $2 and up
  • Description: Visit Michael’s to decorate an Easter foam egg or canvas, or purchase a wreath and get spring decorating supplies for free.

March 16 — Kids Night Out at The Ceramic Studio {Howell}

  • Time: 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $30/child
  • Description: Drop the kids off for a fun night out! We will paint three easter eggs using various pottery painting techniques and the kids get to choose their own colors! There will also be pizza, snacks and games. Must call 517-548-5386 to register. Age 6 and up.

March 18 — Underwater Easter Egg Hunt at Howell Aquatic Center {Howell}

  • Time: Two sessions — 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Cost: $6 per person or $20 max per family of 4 {$3 per additional person}
  • Description: Visit the Howell Aquatic Center for the annual underwater Easter egg hunt! Prizes will be awarded for returning the Easter Bunny’s ‘lost eggs.’  Children will be grouped together by age and each age group will have its own hunt time.  Please bring a water proof basket or egg holder to store your eggs.  Age groups are: 0-3; 4-5; 6-7; and 8-12. Pre-register to guarantee your spot.

March 21 — Jelly Bean Jam {Fowlerville}

  • Time: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Cost: FREE
  • Description: We’re GLOWING it up @ Fowlerville UB! Search for glowing eggs redeemed for prizes. Enjoy dinner, live entertainment, crafts, games and an electrifying science experiment. All activities are open the entire time. Everyone is welcome!

March 24 — Easter at NorthFork Outback {Webberville}

  • Time: Reservations every 15 minutes starting at 1:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $15 per child; $5 for adults
  • Description: Visit NorthFork for pony rides, leading and brushing, kids’ train ride to an Easter egg hunt and our indoor heated petting zoo.

March 24 — Preschool Easter Egg Hunt at Bounce {Hartland}

  • Time: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $7/child
  • Description: Visit Bounce during Preschool Playtime for some Easter fun!  For ages 4 and under.

March 24 — Easter Egg Hunt & Pancake Breakfast at Pinckney Community Congregational United Church of Christ {Pinckney}

  • TIme: 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.
  • Cost: Free {Donations encouraged}
  • The hunt will follow breakfast. For more information, call 734-878-3140.

March 24 — Easter Photos at Pet Supplies Plus {Howell}

  • Time: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Cost: Receive a 4×6 photo for a donation of $14. 100% of proceeds benefit the Livingston County Animal Shelter
  • Description: Stop in with a pet for photos with the Easter Bunny. For more info call 517-546-2154 or 517-552-2493.

March 24 — Easter Pet Photos at Pet X {Howell}

  • Time: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Cost: Free session; prints have a fee
  • Description: Bring your pet in for Easter photos! Animal Medium Leslie Cirinesi will also be on-site.

March 26 — Meet the Easter Bunny at Venture Church {Howell}

  • Time: 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Cost: FREE
  • Description: Enjoy Easter crafts, a giant indoor inflatable farm and the Easter Bunny in the lobby of Venture Church.

March 27 — Pop-Up Easter Egg Hunt at Bennett Rec Center {Howell}

  • Time: 11 a.m. – 12:30 pm.
  • Cost: FREE
  • Description: Join us as we bring the Easter Egg Hunt to you!  Kids will collect eggs and turn them in to receive a goodie bag to take home!  No registration is required. Just bring a basket to collect eggs.

March 28 — Pop-Up Easter Egg Hunt at Genoa Township {Howell}

  • Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7 pm.
  • Cost: FREE
  • Description: Join us as we bring the Easter Egg Hunt to you!  Kids will collect eggs on the Genoa Township field and turn them in to receive a goodie bag to take home!  No registration is required. Just bring a basket to collect eggs.

March 29 — Pop-Up Easter Egg Hunt at Oceola Township {Howell}

  • Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7 pm.
  • Cost: FREE
  • Description: Join us as we bring the Easter Egg Hunt to you!  Kids will collect eggs on the Oceola Township athletic fields and turn them in to receive a goodie bag to take home!  No registration is required. Just bring a basket to collect eggs.

March 29 & 30 — Hoppy Easter Toddler Time at Sky Zone {Brighton}

  • Time: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Cost: $7.99 per jumper
  • Description: Visit Sky Zone in Brighton for toddler time and visit Hoppy the Easter bunny for free!

March 31 — Breakfast or Brunch with the Bunny at Howell Nature Center {Howell} 

  • Time: 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. time slots
  • Cost: $9/adults, $7/kids, children under 2 free
  • Description: Visit for a delicious pancake breakfast with sausage and all the trimmings. Children will get to visit with the Easter Bunny, receive a special gift, and enjoy an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt. Bring a camera. Reservations required. {Registration opening soon!}

March 31 — Crossroads Church of God Easter Egg Hunt {Howell}

  • Time: 11 a.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Description: Join the fun with kid-friendly activities, egg hunts for ages 0-5th grade and hunt for the golden egg for a special prize. Call 517-546-0722 for more information.

March 31 — Hoppy Easter Open Jump at Sky Zone {Brighton}

  • Time: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Cost: $13.99/hour, $17.99 for 90 minutes or $21.99 for 2 hours
  • Description: Visit Sky Zone in Brighton for open jump and visit Hoppy the Easter bunny for free!

March 31 — Easter Party at Infinity Gymnastics {Brighton}

  • Time: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $5/child not enrolled in classes; a donated canned good for current enrollees
  • Description: Join Infinity for an egg hunt and photos with the Easter bunny {bring your own camera}.

April 1 — Easter Brunch at Whispering Pines Golf Course {Pinckney}

  • Time: Seatings at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • Cost: $21.95/adults, $10.95 for children 5-12
  • Description: Visit Whispering Pines for made-to-order omelets, signature French toast bake, carved roast beef and more.

{Post-Easter Fun!}

April 14 — Bunny Mile With SELCRA {Brighton}

  • Time: Race begins at 12:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $20/family inlcudes 1 mile family Bunnny run, bunny mile medals, family photo and goody bag for ages 12 and under
  • Description: Grab the family and come run with the bunny to burn off all those post Easter candy calories. The bunny will lead a light warm up then take the family on a mile run along the Bishop Lake Beach area. Pre-registration required. This is not a timed race and on registration includes entire family.
