Calling all bug lovers! If your children are into all things creepy and crawly, the Michigan State University Bug House needs to be on your radar.
The MSU Department of Entomology hosts FREE open house events just about once a month throughout the year. These provide a great, educational experience, and are the perfect excuse to introduce a college campus to your child.
While visiting, your child will have the opportunity to learn from the Entomology students and hold some of the bugs — even the creepiest in the bunch!
My oldest loves bugs and had a blast holding and learning, even if I was just a tad freaked out 😉 We spent about an hour checking things out and learning. She asked some great questions and really enjoyed talking to real scientists!
