With cooler weather comes family movie nights, am I right?
One of my favorite things about watching movies together is that it’s universal and is something that can be done with ALL ages, especially during those tough teen years!
As a parent, it has been amazing showing my kids all of my favorite movies and watching them together. I decided to make a big list of ideas for us to pick from. That way, when we have a Friday night open, I can pick up one of these great ones! I’ve been able to rent many of these from FREE at my library, but I’ve also even visited the video store for a few when they weren’t available on our streaming services or Amazon {affiliate}.
I broke down the list by what I *think* is age appropriate, but of course all parents know what is best for their children. I always visit the Common Sense Media website when I’m not sure how appropriate a movie is because I know the rating system of my childhood is very different from today’s standards.
I’d love to hear what you’re favorites are too in the comments!
