What is better than pancakes? Pancakes with a purpose!
On Tuesday, February 25, 2020 IHOP restaurants will offer each guest a free short stack of their famous buttermilk pancakes on National Pancake Day. The event runs from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. {Try to go at an odd time to avoid crowds because this day does get pretty busy!}
This is a nationwide program, but locally, this annual tradition aims to raise needed funds and awareness for Beaumont Children’s Hospital, the only Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals affiliate located in Southeast Michigan.

IHOP guests will be invited to make a voluntary donation to Beaumont Children’s to help improve the lives of pediatric patients in lieu of paying for the pancakes.
{Yes, the pancakes are free, but make sure show your kids some generosity and donate to the cause, and don’t forget to tip your server for what the meal price is in the process!}
My kids always request to add sprinkles or chocolate chips for a small extra fee. YOLO!

Since 2006, IHOP National Pancake Day has raised more than $30 million to provide life-saving treatment, programs and medical equipment for pediatric patients across the country — including the 200,000 children treated annually at Beaumont Children’s. Pretty incredible, right?
Southeast Michigan IHOP locations benefitting Beaumont Children’s include:
- Bloomfield Hills
- Brighton
- Canton
- Dearborn Heights
- Detroit
- Livonia
- Monroe
- Novi
- Roseville
- Royal Oak
- Sterling Heights
- Woodhaven
- Ypsilanti
