Thanks to support from Ford Motor Company Fund, the community is invited to visit Michigan Science Center (MiSci) for FREE on Sunday, March 8, 2020 to celebrate women in science on International Women’s Day!

On this day, guests can enjoy complimentary admission to more than 220+ exhibits from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. General admission tickets are free, and pre-registration is encouraged {love this because it helps with crowd control!}.

Visitors will learn about women scientists and the contributions they have made to society. A few activities include:
- DNA extraction to highlight the contributions of Barbara McClintock
- A cloud chamber to feature the work of Marie Curie
- Creating binary bracelets in honor of Joan Clark
- Amazing Astronomy and Fantastic Physics, two different live stage shows that spotlight the incredible career of Mae Jemison
Available time slots for the day include 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. REGISTER HERE to choose your time to visit.

There is tons to discover for ALL ages at this museum, and even a cute cafe on the premises. Learn 10 reasons we love MiSci for more information relevant to families.
