On our family summer bucket list, June is for strawberries, July is for blueberries, and August is for SUNFLOWERS! Maybe it’s a cliche flower to some, but there is nothing that will take your breath away more than a field filled with these beauties. You can’t NOT smile!

And honestly, isn’t this just the beauty and happiness we need to see in 2020?!
I am lucky to be in an area where there are plenty of sunflower fields. Many farmers plant them to take advantage of the nutrient soil conditions, so that’s why some years you will see sunflowers and the next year will be followed up with corn.
There are many more fields than the ones listed below BUT not all farms are open to the public. Please be respectful when visiting and if you are able to purchase something from the farm, please do.
After all, farmers make the world go ’round!
