Favorite Things: February 2021
BOOK: The Confidence Code For Girls by Katy Kay & Claire Shipman
With tech at an all-time high, our children are sure to face some harder stuff than we did growing up. I’m a big believer in books as tools to help boost confidence and encourage healthy relationships. This is a great read for middle school aged girls.
My 10-year-old loved the graphic novel approach and taking quizzes to determine what she can do if she finds herself in tough situations. Some of the content was above her head {i.e. cell phone etiquette}, but overall the book led to a lot of great conversations on friendships and how to handle drama and I’m glad to have it on our shelf for future reference!
DATE NIGHT IN: InBooze™ Cocktail Infusion Kits
InBooze™ is the brain child of my very first Michigan blogger friend, Ashleigh. She wanted an easier and healthier way to enjoy drinks at home so she began infusing cocktails with simple fruits, spices and herbs. During the past few years, her company has grown exponentially, and believe me when I say she deserves ALL the success!
Her kits make for great gifts, or a way to step up your cocktail game without needing to leave your home. We made both the red and white sangria and they were SO GOOD! I look forward to trying more flavors.
COUPON CODE: InBooze has been kind enough to offer my readers 20% off. Use MRSWEBER at checkout 🙂

CLOTHING: Amazon Twist Knot Tunic
I reallllly miss dressing rooms, but am trying to embrace online shopping. With the thousands of positive reviews this shirt had, I knew I had to give it a shot. I’m convinced this shirt would look good on ANY body type. It runs true to size — I bought a large and it fits like a normal large does on me — and I love that it comes in tons of colors and can easily be dressed up without sacrificing comfort. {It also comes in short sleeves, so I will be stocking up once spring hits!}
FOR THE HOME: Robot Vacuum
I had been eyeing robot vacuums for a year, but waited until we had all wood floors before making the plunge. I nabbed this one for around $150 back in November, and it has been well worth it.
This guy {his name is Billy – per the kids} brings me so much joy! He runs at a set time each day and picks up soooooo much dirt and pet hair. I wouldn’t say it 100% takes away all sweeping — there are still some spots he can’t get to — but it drastically has reduced the time I was spending cleaning. Win-win!

BEAUTY: Schick Facial Razors
When the pandemic hit and all salons closed, I had the scary realization that I would need to care for my eyebrows without my monthly wax habit. Plucking is painful and tricky, so when I learned about these facial razors, I knew I had to give them a try! They make cleaning up the eyebrow area SO easy. I love how they can be used on other parts of your face as well…chin hairs, anyone? These babies are saving me a bunch of money!
HEALTH: FREE Yoga with Boho Beautiful Yoga
Working out at home is not my cup of tea…I’d much rather run outdoors or head to the gym. But this year I’ve tried to embrace at-home workouts and have tried tons of free ones on YouTube. The Boho Beautiful yoga channel has become one of my favorites! The beautiful scenery, variety of videos, and the instructor’s calming presence have been such a blessing. I feel SO much better after just a 20 minute session!
