My oh my, I can’t believe it’s already July! Restrictions are starting to lift, and summer will fly from here on out, so make sure to get out there and support all of our local spots that may have had a tough year.

Visit downtown Plymouth during the weekend for their Art in the Park fair to enjoy art, food, music and more. This is Michigan’s second largest festival!

Visit Lavender Lane in Milan for U-pick lavender, music, a petting farm and more at their Lavender Harvest Festival. $5 entry fee. {Find more lavender fields here.}

Hit up the Oakland County Fair in Davisburg {July 9-18} to check out the animals, rides and shows. This is by far one of our family favorites. {Make sure to taste the amazing farm fresh 50 cent chocolate milk!}

It’s Tuesday! Hit up Emagine Theatres for one of their $3 children’s movies, and don’t forget the FREE popcorn if you are a rewards member.

Be on the lookout for when blueberries are ready! We love picking them at Hazens Blueberry Farm in Howell. {Note: Blueberries are much less tedious to pick than strawberries, so are perfect for little ones! Do not skip the ice cream at Hazens either!}

Get ready to check out farm animals and enjoy the carnival at the Fowlerville Family Fair! This day is kid’s day and ride wristbands are discounted to $25 {otherwise purchase in advance for that price any of the other days too!}.

Today is National Chili Dog Day. Nobody knows this day better than Detroit! Hit up the city to take the coney dog challenge and decide which is better — American or Lafayette Coney Island.
