Fill your home with the aroma of these super simple crockpot baked apples using pantry staples as ingredients!
Apple season is still rolling here in Michigan, and with cooler temps on the horizon, we are looking for more ways to use them to warm us up!
I am loving these ideas for fall entertaining with Michigan Apples. One super simple recipe I’d like to throw in there is to make these super simple crock pot baked apples. I love that this dish is a healthier dessert option, and is braces-friendly for my middle kiddo. These would make a great dessert for a fall party, or even for your Thanksgiving feast!
Pop these in the crock pot and let them simmer and fill your house with amazing scents. The crockpot is ideal because it allows the apples to soften in the most perfect way before consuming. When these are done, they should fall apart relatively easy. Top with ice cream, whipped cream, caramel and/or nuts for an extra indulgent treat.
Additionally, this is an easy recipe for kids to help with {minus the coring part}. Grab them and head to the kitchen to make these super simple crockpot baked apples.
