As a way to give back, the United Way of Genesee County is providing FREE entry to Longway Planetarium and Sloan Museum of Discovery in Flint on the weekends of September 2-4 and November 4-6, 2022. {November dates will open at a later date, so mark your calendar!}
United Way Free Weekends are in celebration of the United Way of Genesee County’s Centennial and to encourage everyone to explore all they ways we can all LIVE UNITED.
Visitors can get tickets in-person at Guest Services, or reserve tickets online. Please note that seating capacity is limited to 129 seats in the Planetarium so advanced reservations are recommended.

If you haven’t visited the new re-imagined Sloan Museum of Discovery, I highly suggest a visit. We’ve been to a lot of museums in Michigan and this is absolutely in our top three best! It’s an incredible place for kids of ALL ages.

Both are located within the Flint Cultural Campus, which has plenty of FREE parking. We love visiting the Flint Institute of Arts as well, which is always FREE on Saturdays.
