The Kids Bowl Free program registration is now open and available in 50+ cities across Michigan. This is such a fun activity to keep kids busy, especially on a rainy day!
If you aren’t familiar with Kids Bowl Free, it’s a program where kids under the age of 12 can get two free games of bowling per day it’s available {shoe rental is not included}. Find out if a center near you is participating here. My local center’s program runs from June 1 – August 31.
How To Register for 2023 Kids Bowl Free
- Go to Kids Bowl Free and pick your state.
- Select your nearest bowling alley from a list of participants.
- Fill out the registration form.
- You’re all set! You will receive a weekly email with your coupons at the start of each week when your local program kicks off. There is also an option to receive a text if that’s easier for you. {Warning, they do send a fair amount of emails, but once the program is over, I promise they stop!}
- Present your phone or printed version of the coupon at the alley where you are registered.
- NOTE: Most bowling centers will have a designated bowling time when Kids Bowl FREE will be available, so make note! {My alley has it on select days from 12-5 p.m.}
Another thing to consider is adding a family pass, which allows for parents to get a great deal — two games per time. These savings can add up really quickly for a larger family, especially if you go a few times each month.
Bowling has some major wins for kids, too. Check out the benefits:
- Helps with visual motor planning and hand-eye coordination
- Involves heavy work, which provides great input for kid’s sensory systems
- Provides plenty of great opportunities to learn patience
- Reinforces turn-taking, a concept that is tricky for little ones!
- Assists with practicing math skills
- Can help teach kindness by encouraging cheers for your team or siblings
Have fun if you sign up!
