I’m super excited to be partnering with The Wharton Center for Performing Arts on Michigan State University’s campus in East Lansing for a fun, family-friendly giveaway! If you’ve never been, it’s a GREAT venue for performances and parking is a cinch with an attached parking deck 🙂
On Sunday, April 27th at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., the TRUE story of the three little pigs will be told. Featuring Paul Mesner puppets and based on the book by Jon Scieska, here’s the show synopsis:
Think you know the real story behind the huffing and puffing? Think again. There’s only one individual who knows the true story about one wolf, three houses and three little pigs: Alexander T. Wolf. In this revealing, no-squealing adaptation of Jon Scieszka’s popular book, A. Wolf has a chance to tell his side of the story. He only wanted a cup of sugar and he did have a cold. For years we have only known this story from the pigs’ point of view. Mr. A. Wolf tells all about what really happened to those three little houses made of straw, sticks and bricks and the three pigs who lived in them.
How cute does that sound? Best of all, ticket prices are just $8! The show is recommended for age 4 and up.
The program is part of the Act One Family Series, which provide the perfect opportunity for parents and grandparents to introduce children to the performing arts. Shows are specifically designed to appeal to young audiences by national and international touring youth theatre production companies.
Additionally, one hour prior to performance time, there will be family activities while supplies last.
