Mother’s Day Gift Ideas At Green Oak Village Place {+$25 Gift Card Giveaway!}

One of my favorite local destinations for some shopping is Green Oak Village Place, which is about a 10 minute drive from where I live in Livingston County. I love it because it’s so much easier than mall shopping with kiddos because I can pull into the store I want to visit and easily scoot inside.

{If you aren’t familiar, Green Oak is located about south of Flint about 15 minutes or so from Ann Arbor off of US-23.}

I was beyond thrilled to shop to look for fun gift ideas for Mother’s Day! I can’t wait to go back and visit and get some fun things for my mama 😀

First, I visited Ann Taylor Loft. The clothing in this store is just beyond beautiful and so well made. The gift idea that struck me the moment I walked in were these beautiful lightweight, handmade scarves from India. Each one is uniquely woven. These are so perfect for a mom of any age!

Then I checked out Charming Charlie, the mall’s newest addition. This store blew my accessory-loving mind the moment I walked in! So many awesome things — all organized by color — and for such amazing prices. Purses, watches, scarves, dresses – oh my! And I didn’t see anything over $29 while there. These were a few of my favorite items, though it was hard to pick. So many items were perfect for moms.

Next I went to one of my favorite stores in the plaza — Yankee Candle. I don’t know about ya’ll, but candles are definitely one of my favorite gifts to give and receive, and nobody makes candles quite like Yankee! Currently, their large jars are buy one {for $27.99}, get one half off. Additionally, they have this super fun social promotion happening where you can write out why your mom is amazing and send it into the social sphere. Of course, I had to partake!

I also found this really neat candleholder that would look adorable in any home.

From there, I visited Ulta. I had never been in this store, but I already can’t wait to go back for future gift buying. Chock full of fragrances, nail polishes, lip glosses, shampoos and more, it was like a beauty mecca. I had so much fun walking around smelling things and admiring all the glitter and color. A special promo they are doing for Mother’s Day is giving away a free bag with any $40 fragrance purchase.

Lastly, I made a trip into one of my most favorite stores ever — HomeGoods. I honestly could’ve found 100 things I *need* there! Love how inventory is always so fresh, different, and priced affordably. They had a great variety of ideas from home accessories to birdhouses and fun, small items, like these:

In addition to the many stores at Green Oak Village Place, there are several restaurants that would make for great gift cards as well, including: Shogun Chinese & Japanese Bistro, Buffalo Wild Wings, Kerby’s Koney Island, Jameson’s Irish Pub & Grill, Jonny Carino’s Italian and Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina. Yum!
