I received a complimentary pregnancy pillow from My Brest Friend in exchange for the post below. All opinions expressed are my own.
As a parent to draining little children, there is nothing like that feeling you get when you hit the pillow. It’s pure bliss.
But then you get pregnant {again}, and all bets are off, and sleep feels like you are already parenting a newborn between waking up uncomfortable to needing to go to the bathroom several times a night.
For some ridiculous reason, I have never bought a pregnancy pillow during any of my pregnancies, and each time I regret that I never just invested in one from the start, knowing I wanted to have a few kiddos. {P.S. If you are newly pregnant, go buy one NOW!}
Finally, this time I got smart and decided to just see if a company may be interested in a review in exchange for blogging about my experience. I was beyond thrilled when My Brest Friend actually said yes.
I was so excited to hit the sheets the day My Brest Friend 3-in-1 body pillow arrived. In fact, I even tried to sneak in a nap while the hubby helped bathe the kids.

My Thoughts:
While I do love this pillow, it has a few flaws. I am a belly sleeper, so I was especially excited about the belly wedge since I seem to need some support there. I found that part essentially useless, and got in the way more than anything. With that said, I move a TON in my sleep, so maybe that’s why I didn’t find I needed that part much.
However, for the rest of the pillow, I did like that it was a bit smaller than a typical body pillow, especially given that we have a queen size bed, and I loved how long it was {I am 5’6″ and thought it was perfect for my size, which I think is pretty average for American women}.
I feel like a monkey clinging to a tree every night I sleep with it! It does need a fair amount of adjustment as I wake-up to go to the bathroom throughout the night, but not anymore than any other pillow. I also love laying on my left side to read books at night. It puts me in the most comfortable position possible and sure beats the pain I feel laying on my back.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product. A nighttime of restful sleep is worth gold when it comes to pregnancies, though I can see myself using this beyond pregnancy too!

I have heard great reviews on this pillow – but I couldn’t justify it along with all the other big purchases we were making for baby #1! I found a $10 one at Target in the “back to college” section that worked great!!

I totally wish I’d had justified the cost sooner! I have a wedge thing and a body pillow, but it takes up half of our bed and made me super hot since I tend to have summer/fall babes. This is narrower, which definitely helps! I am sleeping tons better so far. Hope that continues!

I’ve never been pregnant/had kids before, but that pillow looks SUPER comfy.

You definitely don’t have to be pregnant to enjoy it! It’s like the ultimate body pillow 😉
