I LOVE lists. Especially bucket lists. It’s fun to have goals, and most importantly, have plenty of adventure to keep life interesting.
I’ve been lucky to have done some amazing things in my life in Michigan and beyond — from throwing the first pitch at a Detroit Tiger’s game to traveling through the eastern part of the U.P.
But there are still SO many things I haven’t seen right here in my own home state! Adventure is calling 😉 Here is my bucket list. What would you add? Make sure to chime in!

I grew up in the Traverse City area so have done the Sleeping Bear Dunes ones. A color tour in TC needs to include the High Roll Away in Buckley. Fabulous!!! I highly recommend doing the Bridge Run on Labor Day. It is very early in the morning before the walk but oh the sunrise as you run….oh, oh,oh. We did the Tulip Festival a few years ago and I did their Tulip run. Very cool. I want to do the Jiffy Mix tour. I just keep forgetting to get myself organized. I just got a groupon for the girls and I to do the Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum!! I grew up working summers and holidays at Crystal Mountain but I think that was before the Moutain Coaster. I love this post of yours!!! I love our state!
