One thing my kids look forward to each month is our local FREE Home Depot Kid’s Workshops. These are a great way to spend time together as a family, or have an excuse for a one-on-one date with your child.
The hands-on workshops are typically held the first Saturday of the month and run from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Projects range from super simple to more intricate, so make sure to take a peek to see what’s ahead and if it’s a fit for your child.
Once the project is complete, your child can paint and personalize it. All kids get to keep their project, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.
AGE RECOMMENDATION
The age recommendation is 5-12, but we take our younger ones too if it’s not too challenging. If it’s more challenging, make sure to have an extra adult to help with extra little hands.
TIP: Make sure to re-use the same apron each month so you can watch your pin collection grow!
