If your kids are anything like mine, they LOVE to create. Problem is, some days I just don’t want to deal with the mess or we just want to get out of the house for a bit.
Enter Michaels Kids Club. Nearly every Saturday, Michaels hosts a Kids Club craft project from 10 a.m. to noon, and visitors can show up at any point during that timeframe.
The fee for project supplies is just $3, so this is an easy way to have a low-cost Saturday morning.
Our location has a separate room at the front of the store for these projects. Parents can just visit the cash register to pay the fee and show the receipt to the project coordinator.
Classes are limited in size and not all stores host the workshops, so check the in-store craft registration page for participating locations. Most crafts are recommended for ages 3 and up and supervision is required — these are not drop-off classes.
To find the nearest Michaels, check out its website. Registration is encouraged, but not necessary.
TIPS FOR ATTENDING MICHAELS KIDS CLUB
- Michaels has quite a few other classes during the month, and sometimes even some free Make Break classes for kids. Always check the calendar!
- If the project requires paint, make sure your children are dressed appropriately and not in their Sunday best 😉
- Download the Michaels app for instant coupons. We love using the 40 percent coupons for arts and crafts supplies that are more costly like dot markers, paint, and chalk markers.
Happy crafting!
