It’s easy to not let summer boredom creep in…Just make a bucket list! I love these lists for reminding me of things I can do with the kids throughout the course of our special time together.
Our weekends are filling up quickly with weddings and road trips, but we hope to take in some lazy days just playing with friends in addition to starting swim classes at Goldfish Swim School in Ann Arbor.
Here’s what my kids and I came up with for our list. I’ve posted the words below as well in case you are curious where some of the ideas are from {thanks, Pinterest!}.
With a little planning ahead, I think it’s feasible to accomplish it all, and then some. Cheers to summer adventures!

What’s on your list this summer?
Pizza and the lake view from the deck @ Zukey Lake Tavern is a Summer tradition! Had cottages on adjoining Strawberry Lake where we spent every Summer weekend when we were kids. Oh, what great memories!
How fun! That area is so beautiful. Pizza on the deck is definitely one of our favorite summer traditions too 🙂
I use to enjoy all these idea’s until my girls reached tween status. Now it’s just, “Can you take me to my friends house”
So enjoy your time with little ones. My time had ended.
hello i know where you live
Thanks for bringing up this topic. I enjoy how you present and
argue all the facts in addition to your general writing style.
Sometimes, there is a scarcity of time to read long bits, but yours is brief and concise,
I spent only a few minutes to read the whole article.
It’s essential since no one has enough time
to read.
Hi! Would you give us permission to use the image of this summer bucket list in our school newsletter? I work for Mona Shores Schools in Michigan, and am writing an article about putting down our phones, and spending time together in the summer. I would credit your blog.
Absolutely! Go for it 🙂 Hope it inspires the families in your district!
