If your family is one to love to create, The SCRAP Creative Reuse Ann Arbor is a MUST visit!
We have been visiting this place for years after our preschool teacher told us about it, and it has always been the top spot my kids ask to visit when we head to Ann Arbor. I’ve mentioned it on this blog many times, but it was high time I just gave this spot it’s own post 🙂 They recently moved and the new location is awesome!
For my friends who enjoy the thrill of thrifting, you will LOVE this place. It’s like a crafty thrifters paradise. Every time you visit, it’s different.
For being used/leftover items, this store is SO organized.
Looking for fabric? Head to the wall of fabric! Need paper? There’s a whole section for it. Want to make a craft with an old wine bottle? There are shelves of glassware ready for new life. Want to get crafty with old crayons? You’ll find an entire barrel full here.
My kids enjoy the “fill-a-bag” section which is full of barrels full of treasures that can be used creatively. We’ve made some funky and fun art here through the years.
They also have pre-made kits of goodies if your kiddos prefer not to start from scratch. There are lots of trash-to-treasures to uncover!
