I’m excited to let you all know that I am taking part in a really fun project with the company I work for, Hay There Social Media, and WDIV Local4, our NBC affiliate in Detroit, for the second year in a row.
If you’re looking for the best Black Friday deals in metro Detroit, online, and beyond, you must follow the hashtag #Local4Shopping on Twitter. It’s there our team of bloggers will share the best deals we can find to help save you time, money and your sanity. Together, we are recommending gifts, stores, prices and other tips to make your Black Friday shopping productive AND fun.
I personally will be heading out on Thanksgiving evening since that is when the best deals are for the items I am looking to purchase for my girls {Doc McStuffins doll, LEGO Duplo set and Play-Doh kit, for starters}. I’m heading up the gifts for children 5 and under with Amber at Metro Detroit Mommy and each of the other bloggers have a fun category, too. Check out all of our suggested items over at this link.
Really pumped about this item — just $15 at Walmart {$59.99 on Amazon}. Kinley is obsessed with making cakes out of Play-Doh so I know this would mean hours of enjoyment for her! And for $15, I won’t cry when she break the pieces 😉
I have promised myself not to go overboard this year, so I’ve been tracking our Christmas spending tightly. These deals are going to make it an unbelievable Christmas for my girls. It’s absolutely not about the gifts, but we know all parents get them, so our team is here to help you get the most bang for your buck so you can save your dollars for things that matter — like giving back to someone in need. Also, don’t forget to #ShopSmall with Small Business Saturday, and to give the best gift of all while you’re out: YOUR KINDNESS!
