There’s no doubt about it, the COVID-19 Pandemic has made dating your spouse a bit more difficult. However, a date night in doesn’t have to be boring or expensive. Spice things up with these ideas!

30 date night in ideas:
- Purchase some special foods and make a meal together after the kids go to bed {or, as suggested by a friend, send the kids to the basement for a movie while you enjoy the meal in peace!}.
- Get out gaming system and play some video games together. Stripping for death is always a fun way to spice things up 😉
- Have a wine and cheese, bourbon and chocolate, or beer and apps pairing night in {some ideas can be found here}.
- Have a bonfire together {sans kids!} and roast s’mores or other treats.
- Head outside and stargaze. Grab a phone app to understand what you are seeing.
- Re-watch your wedding video together. Step it up by kissing every time you kiss on screen.
- Create a bucket list of things you’d like to see and do together.
- Play trivia together. My husband and I love playing the QuizUp app together and getting competitive {I like to challenge him with Disney and he likes to challenge me with history – LOL}.
- Get on a deeper level with your partner with a card game such as Intimacy Deck {affiliate link}, which brings up interesting questions.
- Check out a free escape room game using this list.
- Crank the tunes and complete a house project together.
- Watch a stand-up comic special…Laughter truly is the best medicine!
- Rent a new release movie from a streaming app such as Vudu.
- Order takeout from your favorite restaurant, light some candles, and have a floor picnic together when the kids are in bed.
- Get adventurous and learn how to dance together. There are fun tutorials on YouTube, or you could try a formal program like Show Her Off, as suggested by a friend.

- If your significant other is the singing type, have a karaoke night together using YouTube — there are tons of songs on there! Just search the song you would like + karaoke.
- Purchase a date night subscription box to enjoy together {the Escape the Crate one sounds super cool!}.
- Turn ANY game into a stripping game. {Uno, video games, Jenga, card games, etc.}
- Plan a themed date night…80’s night and watch 80’s movies, prom night and dress up, Italian night and cook all things Italian.
- Watch a scary movie together while playing scary movie bingo.
- Work on a puzzle together.
- Have a living room campout with an air mattress and special treats.

- Purchase some new lingerie online and have a fashion show.
- Rearrange furniture or online shop together to make your bedroom a true oasis away from the kids.

- Have breakfast in bed! {This is great for spouses that work through the night. Just hook the kids up with some food and iPads/cartoons and retreat to the bedroom.}
- Make “mystery cocktails” for each other using random bar ingredients you have at home.
- Plan a treasure hunt for your significant other with their favorite things.
