Birthday Party Places for Kids in Southeast Michigan

Looking for great birthday party places for kids in Southeast Michigan? Look no further! I have searched high and low and asked fellow parents for the scoop on throwing a bash your kids will love. Please note I didn’t list every single bowling alley, movie theater, roller rink and community center, but remember those can be great locations, too! I chose locations that have birthday-specific information on their websites to make party planning a tad easier 😀

Here’s what I’ve found. Feel free to chime in at the comment section to tell me your favorite spots!

We just had my daughter’s 2nd Birthday party at The Sterling Heights Nature Center (Macomb). They provide a fully decorated party room for up to 70 guests, goodie bags for the kids and a special gift for the birthday girl/boy. They also do a live presentation where you learn about and are able to hold/pet toads, turtles and snakes as well as a scavenger hunt. If it’s nice out they even have a beautiful nature trail and park. I was very impressed with it and highly recommend it!

Sounds fab! Looks like quite a few of the nature centers in the area do parties. What a fun way to highlight animals! Thanks for the tip. I will add them to the list :)

Great birthday ideas! Thank you so much for that list. We’re planning to visit Walled Lake and Farmington Hills this coming month for the 18th birthday celebration of my niece. I hope she’ll like it. Thanks for the inspiration.

For my son’s first birthday, we decided on a location in Rochester hills, MI called Boogie Babies. They have a neat play area for babies/toddlers which was great considering that my son wasnt walking at the time. There were costumes for pretend play and video games available for the big kids. It was perfect!
