I participated in a Blog Blast on behalf of Mom Central for Urbini. I received information from Urbini to facilitate my post as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Please note: I only applied for this opportunity because I genuinely love this stroller and shopping for baby at Walmart.com đ
As a mom, the number one question I receive from moms-to-be is what my recommendation is for strollers.
I am a researcher and try to stay on top of the latest news and trends. But, I am also a realist and rarely let myself get attached to things that are just objects.
What I always start by saying is ALL strollers have the SAME safety standards, so to not get brainwashed/emotionally attached to advertising claims from expensive brands on how superior they are. That, and shop with your mind set on what your priorities are.
My priorities for strollers: Lightweight, cup holders and a big basket for things — hands down. We have used an inexpensive travel system for almost 4 years now, and while I look completely unhip with it since it’s dated at this point, it’s functional and does what it’s supposed to, so I can’t complain!
As far as places to shop, personally I am not a baby-specific store shopper. They are overpriced, and are very overwhelming for first-time moms. Too many choices lead to confusion and expensive purchases you may regret later.
I’ve said it before — my absolute favorite place to shop for baby supplies is Walmart.com. I love the website because it’s so easy to compare products, they have much more online than in stores, and shipping is generally free, or much more inexpensive than competing sites. Makes shopping a breeze when you are home with kiddos!
I was super excited to learn about Walmart.com’s Urbini Omni 3-in-1 Travel System. This is totally up my alley and quite frankly — the price is right.
Not only is it inexpensive at $199.99 for a stroller AND infant car seat, but it is super functional and I love that it comes in a variety of colors {purple, red, pink, green, blue and black}. Additionally, the system offers a variety of strolling options: your baby can nest in an infant car seat, relax in the bassinet, and eventually, as a toddler, ride forward or parent facing in the convertible stroller seat. Genius, right? Love how versatile it is!
Check out this cute, short video to see Urbini’s options:
The only thing I would want to add to this stroller are cup holders. Thankfully, you can buy inexpensive ones that attach easily. My husband and I always have a water when we’re heading out for a stroll or to an event!
NOTE: Urbini launched as a new brand in the U.S. at Walmart stores earlier last year, and the Omni 3-in-1 sold out in just one month. That, my friends, is a testament to how awesome this system is.Â
Urbini Hummingbird Stroller — the world’s lightest stroller!
Urbini also has a few other products I find interesting: The Hummingbird Stroller {$99}, which is the worldâs lightest full-featured stroller with a one-handed closing capability {AWESOME} and the Touri Travel System {$149}, which includes a stroller and Petal Infant Car Seat for the ultimate on-the-go travel system.
If you’re in the market for a stroller, or stroller system, definitely check out Walmart.com’s newest offerings from Urbini before finalizing a registry or shopping for subsequent babies!

Moms chime in: What were/are your stroller MUST-HAVES?
Amber Louchart (Metro Detroit Mommy) says
That stroller looks awesome. I think seating for two would be at the top of my list, with drink holders, a place for my phone, storage for my bags (when I shop) the ability to use a car seat with the stroller, trays for the kids. Just a few things, lol.
Mrs. Weber says
Great thoughts, Amber! Totally forgot about the trays for kids – DUH. That is a nice feature for sure. We got a double jogger from Walmart.com and it’s awesome! Though man! Those double strollers are SO heavy! Wish they had more lightweight options!
Gwendolyn M says
This definitely looks more compact than the stroller I had when my daughter was little. I love the extras like cup holders, phone holder and bag holders. I will keep in mind when shopping for baby showers.
Mrs. Weber says
It seriously is crazy how fast strollers and all baby gear changes over the years! My stroller from 4 years ago looks so outdated at this point. We feel inferior when we go to nicer cities and walk around, but it still works and we’re on our last baby, so we keep using it!
